It All started in 2004…

Our owner, Lana Hoffman, opened her first boutique on the campus of Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Featuring some of her favorite designer denim lines alongside fashionable tops and dresses. The store was so well received by the college students that Lana decided to expand her business in 2008.

Facts about our founder, Lana!

  • Lana is a well-known professional jazz singer; performing and entertaining regionally at various concerts, lounges, clubs, private events, and theaters.

  • Within the confines of her stores, she creates a nurturing environment for stray and mistreated kittens, offering them solace until they are united with caring guardians. Her admirable efforts shine through as she has successfully nurtured and rehomed more than 300 felines, ensuring they receive the love and comfort they deserve.

The owner very obviously loves cats, as there were opportunities to donate to local cat rescue efforts at the counter. As someone who has been volunteering with cat rescue and shelter for six years, this was particularly exciting to see, great work!"
